Why do this programme?
AI literacy delivers better outcomes, reduced risks, happier employees and better gender equity.
Many leaders think they're getting productivity gains using GenAI, but their people don't. A recent study shows that 96% of C-suite leaders expect employees to make productivity gains using AI, yet only 26% have a training plan. Many employees feel overwhelmed by AI.
We’re also seeing a widening AI gender divide: BCG research shows that AI adoption by women in non-technical roles is falling up to 21% behind that of men.
It's not just a nice to have. The EU AI Act stipulates that by Feb 2025, those operating AI systems with outputs in the EU must have sufficient AI literacy to make informed decisions and understand the risks and potential harm. Failure to comply, for example, by supplying misleading information about training, can lead to fines of up to 1% turnover. Organisations need a plan for learning and assessment.
